Standing up cards on an altar

How do I stand up cards on an altar?

Um well you could lean them against something.
I have found those clear plastic picture frames which are just one piece of molded plastic bent over itself to be good for slipping a card into.

Something like the one below. If you search google images for "acrylic picture frames" you should be able to find plenty of stuff.

Also you can get a small block of pine or something with a groove in it to sit the card in.

There are cool little stands sold in kitchen stores meant to hold recipe cards while you are cooking.

Yea, definitely flamable. I have a plant that sits on my altar. I took heavy gauge copper wire and created swirls on the top and then stuck the bottom into the pot. The cards slide into the swirls nicely. You can also stick the wire into clay or a pot full of stones. Use your imagination. I like the idea of the clear acrylic picture holders too. You can usually find them at like discount stores and even thrift stores. It makes it easier to look at the cards while you are doing spellwork for sure.
