tarot in the new Batman movie?

Are those tarot cards at the :39-:40 second mark?

Not exactly thrilled with the less-than-flattering depiction of the cards in a movie (yet again), but what deck is that? When you pause the picture, the card at the center is clearly the Fool, and the card above that looks like one of the pips (a sword card.)

It might not be a Tarot, but regular playing cards in an ancient version ( I doubt). Or just pretending to be... Hollywood has no difficulties to make up a deck pretending to be old and puting in the center of the frame a Joker card, after all one of the main charaters is "The Joker"!

Just a thought, no idea if true or not.

Nope those are most definitely playing cards featuring jokers, the calling card for the film's main villain.

Ya, I would guess that they are all Joker cards from different decks. I know someone who actually collects just the joker cards from any deck of card he can get his hands on. You should always count your cards before putting them away after playing with him. He will steal the jokers!

Remember that The Joker lefts a joker card in the crime scene... so probably in the movie he does it too.

these cards were left in a comic book shop recently. They are playing cards from various decks in southern california. They had been stamped with hahaha on them and I believe in harvey dent too. I think one is the usa playing cards company.http://www.usplayingcard.com/. the others may be from the same company or other decks.
