Telling time spreads

SunriseDesire

*forgive me if there's already something posted about this. I didn't see it*

So I asked a question of my cards recently and it said if I was to contact someone there would be favorable results. So now I wonder, is there a spread I can do to determine how long it'll take to hear from him?

Hello SunriseDesire,

the timeframe might be indicated by the cards involved in your original reading. Interpreting those cards I'd consider more useful than starting a new spread, but you can do that of course.

My technique is to assign a time frame to a card and pull the appropriate number of cards you need. So if you want to do a 6 month look ahead, you would have each of the 6 cards be a month, and then interpret. If you see something interesting in one month, you can pull cards with each representing a week in the month (I usually gather the cards and repull for this part).

I do readings using this frequently and have gotten great feedback on it from clients.
