The hidden biblical verse in Rider Waite

Tor

Tarotcards goes like this: Wands - Cups - Swords - Pentacles

If you look at them one by one you find the following three cards inside:

9 of swords - 10 of swords - Ace of Pentacles

The first biblical verse is this (9s):

"Then Jesus told his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." (Matt 16:24)

The next biblical verse for these three cards that follows each other, is (10s):

"Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life." (John 12:25)

Then the last verse of the triplet (Ace of Pentacles):

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." (Matt. 5:8)

This was in a spiritual cookbook I have. You know reciepe. It's written to take it up.

Be a witch and let is zimmer on the stove for a while, and you might find out why.

Tor is this a reading or have you just randomly picked those three cards? If you have just picked them, why those three and how do these verses from the Bible relate to them? I'm just not seeing it at all and I'm not really understanding what you're trying to say.
