Too much energy when carrying a deck?

I feel strange saying this, since I am the first to say that cards are only cardboard and it is the reader who makes them into something more, but...

I usually carry a deck with me, since I never know when it might come in handy. However, during the past few weeks I find it somewhat burdensome to carry a deck with me at all times. Kind of like a load of unwanted energy. I still read at home, but not outside, anymore. Have you ever had this feeling?

I find that it's the potential for consulting the deck for help with every little decision that sometimes is better left at home--not an energy thing exactly. Going deckless can be strangely freeing. It's good to be forced to make up my own mind now and again
