Please help me to understand how a study group works.
Do I need to have a specific Tarot deck to participate?
Would you recommend getting a beginner Tarot (don’t have one but I am new, with a few decks of my own)
Any way, I would like to know if you study by suit, major/minor or numbers and how can it help me in my studies?

It's more a case of 'do you have a deck that you want to study'.

If you have a deck and would like to hear the opinions of others regarding individual cards, you should check out the Study Group Index at the top of this forum to see if the deck you want to study is there. If so, you will find a list of cards that have already been covered and you can add your views of the card (even if the last post was a while ago).

If the deck you want to study doesn't appear in the list you can start a study group of your own by following the guidelines called 'Thinking of starting a study group' (again, at the top of this forum).

For an answer regarding which deck, you would do best to ask this in a separate thread in 'Tarot Decks'.
