These are two distinct titles. Wicked Pack covers the ORIGINS of the occult Tarot and A History of the Occult Tarot 1870-1970 covers more recent territory. I'm glad to see these works discussed. I've just changed my signature to include Dummett's quote from the latter which I feel best describes the ultimate irony of the Tarot in one sentence

I got mine a few years ago at the original list price from a bookseller in New York. As I recall, someone here posted that she'd seen several copies and gave the name of the shop. I called the owner and had her send one. She wasn't set up for it--I suggested she charge me a few extra bucks for the postage and she seemed to think I was a genius. I can't find the thread now
