Thank you for the detailed feedback and additional thoughts :) I'm sorry you were disappointed there was no colour but the first post to this last round of sitters says pencil drawing!

Yes, the light is very strong and the face seems to be bowing to it. I remember when I drew it I thought the light is coming from the past, but it doesn't have to be your personal past; it could be a past life or the historical past. That's where some enlightenment may come from.

I did indeed draw this on Sunday. Was the bday party on Sunday? I have on occasion drawn pictures that referred to something that happened on the day I drew them, so your feelings and experiences at the party may be reflected here.

It wasn't your picture that disappointed me - I didn't mean anything negative in that way, at all - more me being like someone hoping for a bear or an eagle as their spirit animal, then gets a squirrel. For guides I've outgrown the romantic expectations. ;) My inner nine-year-old would have liked something more Disney :D but my spirit is moved by this face. I'm still waiting to "get" it, that's all. Maybe in forty years it will speak more. After all it is very still, very quiet, and it is waiting - awaiting something.

The light from the past... when I'm told to think about my ancestry, or the position in a spread that refers to what history gives me, etc, usually I get as far as my grandmother - and her mother. Then there's the whatever-it-is spiritual whcih I suspect I share with one or both of them, too (I knew my gran well, and my life story has paralleled hers in many ways so far, but her mother died before I was born). She's been in my mind a lot lately, and so has my mother, and I am moving towards listening more to them... and wondering about my father's side which I know little about.

Yes, Sunday was the day. I was out 10am to 7pm, and spent noon till 6pm sitting in the sun, basically waiting for my son's turn to come for his jump - in a "picnic area" full of people similarly waiting; the most sun I've had this year. Then the bizarre thing of being with that assortment of people, plus friendly strangers, a bit tense so I didn't say anything wrong (first time we've all spent time together) and yet it was a good day out... hard to describe. Maybe I was rather shielded and that's what blocked you seeing much? or maybe i was shielded from myself, I mean a bit closed...

Thank you for this, I'm sure it takes a lot of energy and you're amazingly generous with this thread! :) So glad I happened back here today!

I called yours ‘The Artist’ because when I drew it I saw this feline being holding a palette. The tiny figure on top of the palette was a late addition. This feline artist is holding the figurine up and it looks like he (or she?) is admiring a job well done. But I also see curiosity in the artist’s gaze and demeanor, almost as though the figurine isn’t quite his work. Maybe it is someone else’s or an element of surprise has crept into the creative process, something the artist couldn’t control, and he is admiring that element of chance now that makes his work perfect.

Perhaps there is also something of the Pygmalion story here. The artist looks as though he is trying to communicate with the figure on the palette, and the tiny figure (it is a woman) is trying to make herself understood.

At the very end I felt the need to add some colour. There is a glow coming from this little figure on the palette and it’s making the artist shine too.

So bottom line: there is a form of communication going on. Perhaps you are trying to figure something out, maybe the mystery of life, or something more profane such as whether or not to invest in something (a purchase, a relationship). Whatever the tiny woman represents to you, it makes you glow, and you should hold on to it. It seems to belong to you.

Kgirl - 9 July 2014

Yours came to me long before I sat down to draw. I was walking through town and caught, in the corner of my eye, the Celtic design of a dog (I live in Ireland), or at least that’s what I think I saw. And voila, we have dogs, two of them. One, the one on the top, is more feminine, the other more masculine looking, so I took this to be you and D. What is important here is that their movements are synchronized, they are in tune/harmony with each other. They also run in the same direction, either from or towards something. They both wear collars.

At first I only saw a collar on the male dog, and it made me think that he belonged to someone and wasn’t free like you. But then I started to see a collar on the female dog as well. In the end I felt the collars were like rings and that the dogs belonged to each other, hat they were free to run in the same direction, with each other. I thought that ‘run with me’ was an invitation from one of the two to the other, but I can’t tell from which one it comes.

One other thought that came to mind was a song by Kate Bush, ‘Hounds of Love’, which is about the fear of falling in love. I don’t know if that makes any sense here.

Wow. I am blown away. This image is just absolutely stunning. I am so moved by it. I feel like framing it - just for the power of the imagery alone.

I think he came out of a relationship a year or so ago so I think maybe that is what you picked up. I am afraid and perhaps he is still a little raw and afraid too so those words really resonate.

It's so weird because I've been listening to Kate Bush a bit lately! LOL I love her!

This is just beautiful and one of the most amazing readings I've ever gotten in my life. Thank you so much.

I had to work closely with his (notoriously difficult) mother today and she was very happy with my work - perhaps its a sign! LOL

Thank you BE. You have such an amazing talent!

May I sit please!

My question: I have a brilliant idea brewing and I am about to put it into effect very soon. How will it work out for me?

Firstly I really appreciate your creations and the time it must take to get it out of the ether and into material form...
I understand your need to rest every now and then....also thanks for the PM ...

Gee, where to start...

The first impression was TOM THUMB or little me...the little one inside that has been very busy intuiting a massive amount of information over the years...the little whispers of intuitions...that I've learnt to listen to ...finally...that have helped to shape my minds ears and eyes...
The information and wisdoms gained from this little thing does give me strength and intestinal fortitude beyond the norm...Without which I would have floundered on the dangerous hidden hazards of intellectuality and logic...for me, the current toxic ailments that pollute the minds of many as equally as it pollutes this globe....
I have also great admiration for this planets tolerance of this race ...Mother Nature ...she also provides many foundational wisdoms that take years to comprehend...

Perhaps this is also indicating "The little woman" which is a local term for the wife...which I don't have ...though there is an interested party...

Then there's the whim of purchasing a bigger boat....which I don't have yet. They are usually called SHE by the captains of the vessel...

I guess by the way I've rambled on in the first instance it must be that first one...I do glow when something that has been circling in the mind finally collides with matching answers that add more colour and expand a larger picture of my world. Plus I'm constantly aware of the little things that are miracles right in front of our eyes yet we fail to see them...
Which reminds me ...when I was very young I used to see many little people, every night for years. But fears eventually blocked and closed that line of contact...Wow, I'd forgotten about them...they put me to sleep every night ...but the spiraling up and shooting up and out of the body followed by a hugh spasm that nearly threw me out of the bed used to scare me...
SIGH... that's life for yah...

Again, BRIGHTEYE,thanks heaps for dragging that piece of the past back into the present...and for your efforts involved in producing these little treasures...

Would you mind if I copied it for framing...It is yours you know...

I read this entire thread night before last. Through your art along with your intuition, you have truly created something special. I've enjoyed the sitters' responses to your gift as much as I've appreciated the art itself.

If you are still accepting sitters, I would be honored to receive a "reading" from you. General would be fine.
