I think this is really personal for each person and both the Devil and Empress can be quite, urmmm let's use the word 'vibrant'. The whole lustful, sexual thing of the Devil would bore me after a while and then you are trapped with them. Where as with the Empress you get Venus and a nurturing and caring which lasts I may be a little biased though as a Taurean with Venus and interested in the nurturing beauty

The Devil seems like a more short term physical connection while the Empress seems like a longer term emotional connection. Which would I prefer in a potential partner? Depends on whether I was looking for hot, passionate sex (which can only last for so long before it tapers off or withers away completely) or a life partner.

Both would be equally sexy, to me. I couldn't relax with the Devil though, would never trust him. And he's the type to use people (or abuse). Therefore: not with the proverbial ten-foot bargepole. Whereas with the Empress I may put on too much weight if she kept baking for me but otherwise I'd think we'd be ok, except when I wanted high-faluting intellectual conversations, where I suspect her opinions would be based in feeling and not logic, so not accessible to debate. I have a feeling she knows what she thinks and could even be a tad sulky with criticism. Though I can imagine the Devil taking things personally too, if he didn't throw a fit.

Have a look at the Anna K Empress and tell me she hasn't got the seductive Devil in her eyes.

I think a combination of both from the standpoint of some folks who choose to see the Devil as a wonderful sexual indulgence. I've seen the Devil up close and personal, though, and I never want to to there again. He's a beautiful tempter, a magical lover, and fanciful Trickster but take away the D and he's also evil.

Devil to me could be really exciting and passionate, who wouldn't want this? But Empress could be more tender and loving, still sexual but with more potential.

My immediate response is - The Empress please. Because my partner is in a facet - The Devil and he wears me out! Lol. A plodding Capricorn here finds it somewhat of a ruffle to keep up with her fire-horse Scorpio and it sure creates some tensions and mis-understandings.

Ah yes (and here I can 'see' a couple of these Queens of Swords) I agree, this is just 'the fit'. Except - if their lobes are loads bigger than mine - then I would bore them to death so - they can't be tooooo big.

Yes, really. The Devil is the kind of lover who expects you to deep doing different things sexually, and putting yourself into danger literally or metaphorically. They demand control that way.

The Empress wants you to be a good little house-husband: make a lot of money but be home early, look after the kids, have sex at regular times, grow organic veggies in the garden ...

Imagine being wedded to a (male or female) Empress type. It's be hell-on-earth. They'd want you to squeeze the toothpaste tube from the same part they squeeze it, leave the seat down (or up), cuddle in public even if you find that really uncool ... nup. I find that very controlling. I don't like being controlled, so I don't like either of them.

I think that the Devil would be a drag in bed after the first few tyrsts. After all, he's an egomaniac and puts himself first, which could eventually turn into a very dissatisfying sexual experience.
