These lyrics are actually very apt and speak to what I was telling my partner yesterday about my working through past traumas and needing someone patient. I opened up about these things and he seemed to understand, though he was concerned about how it will affect us. I know he has been keeping me not completely involved in his life, part of me is not judging it yet part of me wonders why. I certainly don't feel like I am dancing in this relationship and I'm having a difficult time seeing whether it's because of my baggage or because of him and my not asserting myself enough.
