Spirit Guide? Ghost? Cool story regardless!

This is so nice to know, isn't it? Not everything is scary. I think we as humans are conditioned to fear what we do not know. Sometimes, we just have to trust that we're being taken care of and leave it as that. If we want more answers, maybe we have to really open ourselves. Because we may think we "see", but we may not really see it all.

As I mentioned, I checked the cards just as I got up to go out, and they hadn't moved. I looked at them and did a bit of reflection before going to the store.

Yes, I get between 7-8 hours every night. It was a lazy and rainy Saturday, and I had gone out the night before. Just on my couch, closing my eyes every once in a while. Not really falling asleep, just being cozy. I had the tv on, and could hear the entire show while my eyes were closed, and I was wrapped up with my laptop on me. I did not get up or move. I don't take sleeping pills.

I thought about all this. Went through the entire thing with 5 people. I've covered all possibilities.

Alright, at least that's covered.

Haha, no poltergeist. I've never had that happen, nor has it happened to anyone I know. I live in a new loft, and no history of anything weird happening. I've lived there for 4 years. Calling it a poltergeist is a little dramatic, don't you think? They're usually something that repeats itself and is very violent. If it was a ghost, it was probably one that passed by. I've never had anything weird or strange happen before, and not since.

Heh, no that would be poltergeist the film. Actual poltergeist activity is usually mild without furniture flying through the air. Vanishing and reappearing items would count as mild poltergeist activity along with noises and a few other things.

I don't think I'm oddly calm. Everyone I spoke to was weirded out at first, but they all feel the same way I do. I'm sure there's a rational explanation behind it. Or if there was something spiritual, it was harmless. Not everything unknown is scary. It freaked me out when I saw it, yes, but I let things go, and don't dwell on things unless there's a repeated action that hurts me (emotionally, mentally, or physically). I don't jump to conclusions, or get all theatrical. That's just me though; I'm chill. I've never heard any bumps in the night or feel like someone is watching me. Things are happy and calm in my home. I think if there was something harmful, I'd sense it.

Err, rational explanations are scarier than metaphysical ones in this case. There are a few telling examples.

When you look for explanations it sometimes boils down to what you want to believe. If you are certain that you have examined all possibilities of an actual human being taking a card from the deck and then returning it there and all you're left with is explanations assuming spirits and ghosts had hidden a card and later returned it, then you have your explanation there.

Nope, if it was indeed my spirit guide, she was communicating with a medical scientist, so she had balls. She rattled my brain, that one.

From everything that I've read and heard, you have to raise your vibration to get in touch with that world. I was feeling happy and strong and believed things were going to get better. Not saying I wasn't grieving, but I've been doing a lot of healing on myself, and trusting in the universe, and not letting myself get trapped in fear or depression. You have to believe and really open your eyes, and ears and awaken your spiritual senses. Weirdly enough, you have to kind of....forget. Just let it go and it'll happen when you least expect it. That's the part of trusting the universe.

This is what I'm going to take from this thread. I feel good and know it's nothing to be afraid of. I also trust my building and know no one is hiding anywhere (They can't! I've checked, and security is hella tight here. Two sets of code-access doors to get in, to start with).

Nothing but peace and love, is what I get from this. Oh, and I also wanted people to share their own experiences.

Such a shame! You seem to be saying that you are somehow inadequate or not worthy of a spiritual support system, when quite the opposite is true.

May I ask if your third eye is open?

Your third eye directly connects you with the spirit realm. Even if your third eye is not engaged you should be able to pick up subtle nuances in nature. Synchronicity that are discussed here often.

Sometimes too, our spirit knows what our most logical self cannot comprehend. That causes an internal struggle. Instead of accepting people try to logic their way to an explanation. That's when fear based boogeyman theories start popping up.

Oh my goodness. I never thought of that. I only thought you had to do those for saints, more specifically in hoodoo.

Although I did give her (I don't know why I call her her, I feel a feminine energy, if that makes any sense) thanks and spoke to her for awhile after. I've been talking to her out loud too, because now it feels like shecoyld be there, taking care of me. I'm so excited about this! Who would've thought that I'd ever have this happen. I've eaitedeince I was a little girl to have this sort of thing happen to me. It's pretty incredible!
