Who else uses the pendulum?

Just wondering if there are any other people on here that channel the pendulum in readings and what your ritual was?

I use mine often both personally and in readings and I find it is very accurate. I use a piece of rock crystal, set in sterling silver attached to wool. When not reading, I often just sit holding it, infusing it with my energy and absorbing its own.

Curious to hear back from any of you!

I have been experimenting with using a pendulum however I have not perfected it as of yet. Sometimes it is very accurate, other times way off. I keep it next to my heart chakra most of the time so that it is in tune with my energy. I haven't had much luck with pendulums in the past, however this one I was drawn to.

Now my son has amazing luck with his!

I have 5 or 6 pendulums, clear and smokey quartz, each with different symbols and beads.
I hold it near my mouth and tell it what I expected from it, which is a true and accurate reading. There's a bit more to it I will admit.
But that's the jest of it.

Yes, I've used a pendulum for a long time. I find it is mostly accurate, but occasionally there is a phase of inaccuracy. I haven't worked out what causes that.

I cleanse it with sage, and charge with frankincense sometimes, and by leaving it out under the full moon.

I use mine every so often! I have different pendulums but none really from a special or interesting gem stone! I have had really amazing readings for myself in the past which were more accurate on issues or a situation than cards but also it has got it completely wrong! so I find I cannot rely on it like divining with cards.

I read on a complex situation in my life with multiple possible outcomes, the pendulum got the outcomes spot on! better than tarot and an oracle. However I then decided that Winter to do it every day if there would be snow that day. It got that outcome wrong each time My outcomes go from amazing to just disappointing, I think you have to practice and use them a lot as part of the ritual of their use.

They are great with tarot or oracles readings though or for choosing the best deck for a reading

Lucky son! I think being drawn to any spiritual tools and feeling that connection with them is half the battle! I know when I found my pendulum, it was at a flea market and actually a pair of earrings! This was long before my awakening and they were not in the style that I would wear but I felt drawn to buy them for some unknown reason. Obviously I know why now! Great tip about keeping it close to the heart chakra though!

Oooh the smokey quartz sounds beautiful! I like to hold mine close to my mouth too! Glad I am not the only one!

I wonder why that is? I know for many people they just can't channel with them at all, the results are very inaccurate and yet for others, they rarely fail. Odd!

I have a similar experience, think, where it is so accurate I will ask it trick questions just to test and it will still give correct answers. Then as you say, occasional periods of complete inaccuracy. Often during readings with people who are resistant in the first place, not sure if this is the common factor. Though I would be surprised.
