Premium German Rider Waite with Pam A crackle brown back and 1909 colouring

Lisa Myobun

aaaaargh! I knew it couldn't be perfect. The thing that would have been the apotheosis/icing on the cake - the end of the search, the end of the rainbow is NOT a feature of this deck.

Pixie's Calligraphy titles are not part of the design.

Perfect colours, perfect backs, perfect everything but with the naff modern font.

The yearning continues.

Yeah - but without a grail there would be no knight!

I'd really like to get the pocket version, though I don't see it on the site. I might wait til Books from Germany puts the standard version on Amazon. I am really happy with the German pocket version. The card stock is lovely and colors are great, and it just plain feels good in my hands. Why can't anyone publish a true version of the Original from 1909? They just string us along. Always something is missing...

Funny, I don't see the English version on the AGM Urania site anymore. Am I blind?

That's odd - the English version was showing instock yesterday.

OK, so this is a bit of a head-scratcher. I couldn't find it either on Tarotworld.com, so I did a Google search, and found it. Yet I cannot access the page from within the site, or at least I can't find it.

And, if I copy and paste the link itself, it does not work for some reason. However, the ISBN does. Google this ISBN, and you'll get to the right page: ISBN: 978-3-03819-460-6

The (non-working) link is http://www.tarotworld.com/shop/taro...d44c4c9e8807f59b4a213e.html?tx_kfproducts_pi1[showUid]=40

(Another little enigma: in the picture, the box is in Spanish, yet the card titles and the LWB are in English.)

So very weird! The links keep breaking. I have a YouTube video on this deck and I keep trying to keep the links up to date in the description... but to no avail!

Seems to have vanished from the catalogue. Tried all the variations of AG Muller / Waite / Premium / Tarot and nothing comes up. My local shop had some Portuguese editions in stock today so that's another language it has been published in.

I wonder if they have been forbidden to do an English version, if you get my drift? ;)

Don't know if only the English versions were pulled but it does appear that ALL versions of the RWS, including the ones with the Rosicrucian backs, have been pulled from the catalogue.

I sense legal involvement, my conspiracy senses detect a whiff of US Games...

If this is true and someone managed to buy a copy of the English Premium version of the deck, they would have one heck of a collectable tarot deck.

I cannot even begin to express how upset I am by this. I should have ordered earlier. :'(
