General Spread for Lunar Cycle
Lay the eight cards in a circle, with the New Moon in position 1.

The waxing or building half of the cycle is the first 4 cards; they are more subjective, instinctual and spontaneous. The last four cards represent the waning or dispersing of the cycle. The cards tend to be more objective, purposeful and considered.
1. New Moon - seeds of the cycle/What seeds have been sown/what has been set in motion?
2. Crescent Phase - pulling from the past/what agendas need to be overcome?.
3. First Quarter - instinctual action, important to act on what feels right/or what needs to happen?
4. Gibbous Phase - time of the cycle to prepare/what needs to be improved better organized and set up?
5. Full Moon - more objectivity, greater awareness/what rewards can come from this?
6. Dissemination - distribute creativity and producitivity/what needs to be creatively expessed/how to circulate the work done to date?
7. Last Quarter - need for reflection/what do you see as review and organize
as the project winds down/concludes?
8. Balsamic Phase - ending/relinquishing to make way for future/how to create space for new ideas, projects and relationships?
