Now back to the point. You will all no doubt be delighted to learn that I accidentally left my tarot purchasing credit cards in Canada by mistake, so I feel STRONG. Anyone needing help - just ask me to buy it instead. I can't - so end of problem.....

Well, I did already ask about it over in Oracle De-enabling, but since it's got "tarot" in its title, and since gregory is feeling STRONG, I thought I'd ask about it here as well.

Oh come on. It is plain SILLY looking. For pity's sake - what WILL you see when you pull The Missing Button ? (mind, if you DO pull it, please tell me where.... oops) - and as for The Tool - SPARE me !
The Impossible Pattern ? You WHAT ???? Everyone knows ALL patterns are impossible. Some day I will tell you about the felt skirt I had to make in high school - and that was even under professional supervision. :|

I suppose The Horrible Bride has something to be said for her.... :D So - a whole deck for ONE good card (two if you count the Ornamental Spouse - actually the best thing about this deck is the titles....) ? I don't think so. (now the on line game with it is fun.... and FREE. Use that instead !)

And it isn't even COLOURED. Or (as you admit) tarot. (OR EROTIC }))

I don't even want this, so why would anyone else ?????

Thanks so much every one!

You helped a newbie avoid making some big mistakes! I looked at everything that every one said here, and you are all so right! (but I do love Halloween so i might get that one closer to the fall)
The Robin Wood deck looked so pretty but now I know I just couldn't live with some of those cards! ick
the gilded was still pretty but all the cards look kind of the same.

I went today to the Borders and just bought the Fantastical Creatures tarot deck! I am so happy you steered me away from the others, because I love it!
I almost bought the Druidcraft, but its humungous!

Thank you for saving me a lot of money! I mighthave ended up buying all of those decks and ended up very disappointed!

Totally Totally agree! I bought the deck on a whim, flipped through it. Never used it. dragon boobs weirded me out. Plus, I could not make heads or tales out of most of the cards.

Robin Wood- one of the first decks I bought- I cannot get past the Hierophant. Wheel is cooky. Heirophant actually makes me not want to use the deck.

Gilded- Bought this for my mother in law for Christmas so I could see it close up for myself. I was not impressed, won't be buying it for myself.

Halloween- Cool RWS clone that you most likely will only use in the fall. It's spring, so you'll have it sitting on your self collecting dust till fall when your classes will have you too busy to really enjoy it.

Because it's HORRIBLE as a deck.

It uses a slew of stuff you will have to learn before you can read with it - and it is a bit of a mishmash - nay, it's chaos ! The "native american" side is not "for real" - the authors put it together to suit themselves as far as I can see; it is a MESS.

I actually mean all this, for once. It's beautiful - but you can buy lovely pictures anyway. The cards are huge and easily damaged. I thought you wanted a tarot. I can point you to a blistering review if you like....

OK, next ?

ETA EW; I had forgotten about the boobs. It really is one I don't take out very often !

I would have thought that Sun Ritual card was reason enough on its own (not so much Journey of the Brave as Journey of the Masochistic)!
