International Icon Tarot images used in young-adult novel

Some pretty good news about the International Icon Tarot: images from the deck are going to be used as illustrations in an upcoming book.

The author is Dotti Enderle, who writes a series of adventure novels aimed at teen girls, for Llewellyn Publishing, called 'the Fortunetellers Club'. So far there are 6 books in the series. The tone of them is somewhere between the Nancy Drew books and the 'Charmed' tv series.

The seventh and newest novel is titled 'The Burning Pendulum', and will feature The Hierophant, The Seven of Cups and The Devil from the I. I. Tarot, due out January of '05.

Outstanding, Rota! The bold, clear coloring of the II will be perfect for such a use!

Congratulations!

...well, Llewellyn claimed that this book would appear after the first of the year and, true to their word, it happened just that way. I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know exactly how they used the IITarot card images in the book, but I'm told I'll be getting a copy soon. --
