I finally got a nice sized shelf for my occult corner, will sort them and such soon, some rainy day.

Just a question:
Why list books by Title and not by Author?
Sorry, the librarian in me cringe a little. I feel the urge to sort it :-D

Oh and Rodney - quick! You are going away for a year into unknown territory and can only bring 5 books...
Which ones?

I remember (vaguely) when I only had two bookshelves for books!

Just a question:

Because especially in used bookstores, they're usually not sorted in any manner except for general theme and the title is usually much easier to see from the spine than the author is. So it's much easier when I'm looking through my spreadsheet on my phone to scroll to the book title in alpha order.

I usually don't do those type of questions, but I think I can here. In no particular order except for when I thought of them:

  • Tarot Plain and Simple by Anthony Louis
  • PKT by AE Waite
  • Understanding the Tarot Court by Mary Greer
  • Reading the Marseille Tarot by J-M David
  • Book of Thoth (which I think isn't included in this list because I have it on a separate shelf!)

Don't have to. Have database. It saves duplication and waste of cash :)

Many, many more tarot books have come and gone throughout my life. My current list is extremely small. My first tarot book (in the early 70's) was a Causeway version of AE Waite's The Pictorial Key to the Tarot. How happy I was to discover Eden Gray's books not long after. What a breath of fresh air after Waite's fusty old book.

I have all the guidebooks for my decks that have them except for Bohemian Gothic. I'm always on the lookout for that one.

Here are the few currently in my possession:

The Pictorial Key to the Tarot - A E Waite
The Tarot: A Key to the Wisdom of the Ages - Paul Foster Case
The New Tarot Handbook - Rachel Pollack
The Mystery of the Tarot - Liz Dean
Tarot - Sash Fenton
Self Discovery Through the Tarot - Claudia Genest
Tarot Workbook - Kathleen McCormack
The Psychic Explorer - Jonathan Cainer & Carl Rider (nice 40 page section on tarot)
Power Tarot - Trish MacGregor & Phyllis Vega
Tarot Spreads - Barbara Moore

Many thanks to everyone who listed their books, especially those with LARGE collections. I have found some I want to track down.
