I feel resuming painting would benefit you in overcoming grief or moving past any addictions or afflictions you may be experiencing - especially those from the past. I think it will allow you to express your thoughts in a a way that puts the spotlight on making clear some ideas or thoughts within yourself that have yet to see the light of day.
