They are kind of at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to the artwork on them. Although the Hermetic seems to have a lot of detail, much of it is fill-in work (lines filling in the petals on flowers, things like that). As such, it doesn't have the same kind of extra details that the Illuminati deck does. Then too, the difference between a black and white deck and one with such rich colors is quite striking. So far I'm really enjoying both of them.
