The Pentacles are associated with Earth. They have different pattern on them, but they’re all round, and all colored in red, orange, and yellow. The backgrounds are mostly blue/green, with some purple to indicate the dirt.
The Ace of Pentacles is a large disk filling the center of the card. It looks like a shield. There are concentric circles and triangles radiating outwards between the circles. Above and below the disk are intersecting curves with leaf patterns.
The 2 of Pentacles has a sun in the sky, with a face on it, a bird head in each upper corner facing the sun, a horizon in the middle of the card, and an equal sized disk in the ground. It has concentric circles with an upside down Venus sign in the middle, a 6 flower petals radiating in the outer band of the disk. There are two plants growing, one on each side of the disks. They have 3 leave pointing up, and roots beneath the horizon.
The 3 of Pentacles has one disk above the ground, touching the horizon, and two disks side by side, beneath the ground by about an inch. They look like coins. There are plants growing, curving around the disks.
The 4 of Pentacles has two pairs of disks, side by side. The upper left disk has concentric circles, the upper right has a quarterfoil with concentric circles in the middle. The lower pair of disks have concentric circles with a square in each disk. The background is a design of intersecting curves, some touch in the middle, some frame the middle.
The 5 of Pentacles has the disks arranged like an inverted V. There is a 5-pointed star in the middle of the background. There is a disk on each side of the star, touching the star beneath the arms, and another pair on each side of the top point, touching the horizontal bar and the point’s sides. The uppermost disk is floating above the star. All of the disks have five pointed stars on them. The background has intersecting curves.
