RWS Tarot 101 Seven of Pentacles

Seven of Pentacles

When I look into the Seven of Pentacles I see a man resting on his hoe admiring his abundant crop, his accomplishment. He can now sit back and watch it grow. Now is the time for him to enjoy the fruits of his labor and think ahead, what will he to next? How much to harvest, and sell, how much to replant, how much to keep for himself. Now is the time for assessment, taking stock, reaping your rewards and planning for the future investments.

Direct: working, applying yourself to your goals, doing the needed work.

Reversed: Laziness, lack of progress in your goals, all play:no work, wrong time to invest.

Interesting I was always of the same thought as you,,but I do view the Pentacles as "success" cards..I try very hard to place a significator card in to see what time frame the success may come.

Also a retirement card...resting from labors that type of thing.

I view the Pentacles as indicators of time but I am certain many would disagree..I have some book knowledge of the RWS cards but really try to read intuitively,,lately I have decided it might help to study a bit more on the book meanings,,what others think etc..this forum is certainly helping. :)
