The Star and the Princesses might ruin it for me. Plus, I just don't see that it adds anything to the "genre" . . . as Debra says, Thoth, Liber T . . . Via, all those other esoteric decks. This one detracts from their seriousness.

No, Le Fanu, please don't do it! Thanks for the link, I just had to see the "titties and beer" deck.

The only card that had a whisper of hope was the death card and then I saw the severed leg off to the side. It looks like bologna. It ruins the only passable card.

The rest of the cards are pure comic book stuff. The women have barbie bodies and people have already torn them limb from limb...er...as it were.

This deck is for teen-aged boys, not for you!

I found it at Tarot Garden for $40.00. Someone saw my post in this thread and sent me a link...thank you my friend! So I bought it. Not a de-enabling failure at all, because $40.00 is not $500.00. Besides, I gave it a shot ;~)

Now get to work on poor Le Fanu before she buys the "titties and beer" deck...

Le Fanu, I couldn't say it any better than magpie9: The Golden Porn (that name will surely stick in my mind now) has bad anatomy all over the place, and faces that are so bad that they can't be just included in the anatomy category but deserve a special mention. And I stopped after clicking through the majors very quickly, so who knows what horrors I might be able to point out to you if I took a second look?!

AND you are the person who recently ran a thread to talk about exactly this kind of pointless and badly-done nudity. In short, you'll completely ruin your credibility on this forum if you buy the Golden Porn. (Yes, that's harsh, but we're supposed to be convincing, right?)

Ok, nobody needs either the ToP or the Golden Dawn deck! Back away from the buy buttons! I recently sold the first edition ToP for peanuts, it's really a cold, soulless deck, the only 'people' in it are statues and paintings which are very cold and distant. There's not humanity in the deck, not in a direct way. Not their best work.

The Golden Dawn, now even if you could like the artwork on some of the cards, I would challenge anyone to like it all. The artwork is so clumsy, and there's too much white, like it's not finished. I love that it's a 'true' Golden Dawn deck which does set it apart from all the other GD based decks, but they should have commissioned a better artist (sorry Wang. I nearly like you artwork, but it's not quite there)

Yep, Initiatory Tarot of the Golden Porn is nor for me. It was Morticia that really swayed me. Just by dint of sitting on the shelf, it would taint and contaminate all my other adored and lovely decks.
