cuddles

hi,

does anyone have this book and and/or an opinion on it? there is a lot of interesting information in there but i don't know enough to know how accurate it is. i'm thinking of getting it to read when i'm studying more about the history and symbolism so i'd appreciate any comments :)

The crowned one

Only took four years for a reply! Yes I have it. Great artwork, and middle of the road conservative theory's, based on the ones I agree with actually but a bit dated now. A enjoyable light read.

Geez - seems like some threads do slip up to being noticed at times!

I concur entirely with the_crowned_one, for what it's worth.

BodhiSeed

I would keep this one for the artwork alone, but I think he did a fairly good job with the majors; the minors are so-so. Definitely a book I'll hold on to.

mythos

This was my first book that rated as a better than an extended LWB. It gave me a view into and beyond the 'how to read the cards - list of meanings' and sent me off into an ever widening and deepening range of tarot related study which has just grown and grown. And yep ... great pictures.
