I'm working on creating little rhymes to go with each object, sort of LeNormand style. They're meant to give one or two ideas of possible divinatory meanings, or maybe even help to spark your own intuition. Just a little experiment; you guys let me know what you think.
It is taking me awhile, though. And, I do have a few objects of which everyone gets the same, so I get to cut and paste on those!

Cool, franniee! Like I said before, after being all "I'm going to mail out Wednesday" I've not done it yet. I've got the rhymes to write for one more package and then I'll send them all out by tomorrow.
Meantime, I don't know about you guys, but I have accumulated a nice little assortment of items for my own oracle as well. I really do think I need to make myself some type of throwing cloth, though. I'm going to meditate on that one.
And what a trip it was going through the house looking for things - I found stuff I didn't know I had. Not to mention the bump to the creative part of my brain playing with all of this!

Get a nice felt or velvet so the items don't slide off of the fabric when you cast them.

Awww, thanks franniee, that woulda been cool! But I'm fine...for now I will just use the cloth I use for Tarot and casting the runes. But I really like the idea of creating one with sections on it and/or colors or something to denote aspects of the reading and I have some ideas on that to play with. Hi, there, fellow Mermaids! Just got back from a day of running around (albeit in the pouring rain - but fun, a day with hubby, went to Hard Rock Casino after the chores). One of my stops was the PO and I got all of your parcels off into the mail. When I got back home I found a delightful little package from Chronata in the mailbox. I don't want to give away too many details since others are waiting for their packages, but let's just say there is Chronata's usual loving attention to detail!
The other thing is, OMG, you sent me an entire oracle, lovey! There are so many here. (Unfortunately, the tiny shell didn't make it) As you guys know, my theme is Metal/Transformation and each of these things are a good fit.
She sent me: A dragonfly, a clock, an exquisite little bird's nest (one of my faves) a fairy holding a crystal ball (another fave) a labryinth pressed from a special coin of Chronata's, a Chinese coin, a lucky charm that says good luck in chinese, a tiny figurine of Quan Yin, a tiny copper bell, a pyramid from the novelty machine at Pizza Hut (is this the same one where you got the plastic pope?) a metal tag that says Live Now and another that says Congratulations and a round, happy little cat.
Thank you so much, Chronata! These items are just exactly what I had in mind in for my little transformation set. Thank you for the explanation of the origin of each, too! I love that several have the energy of AT members.
