Whimsical Tarot Book

I have the Whimsical Tarot deck, and have been considering buying the book that goes with it. Does anyone have it or has anyone read it? Is it worth buying?

I have the first edition set, but haven't used it. Thumbing through the companion book, here's what I see:

• 7 spreads geared to children of different ages
• for each card the write-up identifies the character and fairy tale
• the description for each card appears to be pretty accurate to the imagery on the card
• instead of interpretations, "advice" is given for each card
• each write up (both Major and Minor) covers two pages
• there's a short bibliography at the back of the book that's mostly fairy tales (6 of the 7 entries) and one other tarot book (Clarson's Tarot Unveiled)

Don't know if this helps or not.

I found the book helpful simply because I didn't know all the stories that were linked to each card. I'm glad to have it as a reference.

I'm in the same boat as Sapienza- I didn't recognize all the stories depicted, so I found it very helpful!
