Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot by lon milo duqutte

I just received this book yesterday and I'm already half finished. ;)

I'm extremely pleased with this book. The Thoth was the first deck that appealed to me in a meaningful way, and really, except for the Hermetic, nothing has come close since. I always knew this deck was something special and I'm thrilled to have this book explain it all. I may even have a go at the Book of Thoth when I'm done. :D

For those who have read the book: What, if anything, did you learn from the book that has helped in your work with the deck? Any surprises? Lightbulb moments?

The deck became infinitely more accessible to me as a result of reading this wonderful book. DuQuette's respectful but humorous approach and clear explanations of complex theories have opened new levels of interpretation for me.
