Life between lives regression

How aware are you of your surroundings when you did it? Is it like being in a trance?

I had to have two PLR's first, so I haven't actually tried one - especially since it was more expensive, and the first woman, whilst friendly, didn't really put me into a proper trance. I wasn't seeing or feeling much of anything, even though she thought that I was really deep into it.

The second one, my mother came with me, and stayed in the room with me, because I'd had a panic attack before going, and almost cancelled. I got a little bit, and funnily enough, my mother and I had similar things that came to us (the lady hypnotizing me, Cathy Daniels, told her with a smile, that she could listen in and have a free session that way :) ), but I still wasn't satisfied. I was more relaxed with her, though.

But this really disappointed me, because I'd wanted a LBL in order to understand things that have been happening, my mindset, and so on. I wanted *answers* and I didn't get anything.

I heard the UPS man come into the lobby of the first building, but as I said, I don't think that I was under as deeply as she thought. She told me that I would hear things going on around me, though.

Was the person that did this TRAINED by Michael Newton and his Institute?

The person that did mine was, and she wrote a chapter in his book. I had asked her to make sure that she would make me remember everything i was seeing and feeling, and when I woke up I simply worte it all down before she even talked to me.

I would love to live in that state of presence instead of in this world!!! I loved it, although my experiences have to do with loss. And that truely sucks.

I am so curious as to what exactly you experienced?

Yes, he was trained at the institute.
Firstly, having done a lot of deep meditation, I was aware that I was not in the deepest of states. For me I didn't go down past a certain level.
The past life I was regressed to was one I am familiar with and there were a few fascinating things which came out of that for me - I found that very helpful.
The problem came when I went 'up'. From that point I felt that the hypnotist had a set perception of how it should be. At the beginning I was straight into a healing space - it felt like a golf ball shaped sphere with light beaming from a lot of different directions. I really needed to stay there I think for longer than I did. But suddenly we were at the 'room' of my soul group and this is where I had trouble.
I didn't see the souls there as from that past life. I saw figures I know in this one, and here's the thing: most of them don't know each other, and probably never will. Like me, they live in various countries and in very different lives. If we are a soul group, would it not then follow that they would need to know and interact with each other? How is it possible that they all revolve around me? I might be a self centered Leo, but even I find it hard to see myself as the centre of the universe :)). I guess I felt my conscious mind was interfering. Likewise with the Council of Elders - I just didnt see what he clearly felt I should - afterwards he was rather patronizing and told me that in his experience, the council wasn't 'like that'. What was hard was I just wanted to focus on what I was hearing, which did feel important. I wondered if he didnt like it because of the messages I got ... Basically they were quite abrupt and not very gentle, but I felt that was a time thing ... For me they resonated but clearly he thought I had created them myself. I don't know who is right there.

It sounds to me like that Regressionist has a lot of EGO issues. I am sorry you had that experience. It sounds like you were headed in a good direction many times until he interfered with you.

I understand EXACTLY how you feel about what is going on when you're experiencing being in the spirit world. Too bad he didn't let you stay there, and he needs to know it's your trip and you're the captain, not him. There is so much going on in that realm. You know the best!

You need time when under to experience what your seeing, and know that YOU are the one that knows what's right, and what is being said to you. Your Soul will let you perceive the Counsel of Elders in a way that will be helpful to you. There is NOTHING that is; "suppose to be like that, suppose to be not like that."

If the souls you saw are people in this life that live in other countries- perhaps everyone is gathering information and experiences to share in the next life together?

I feel it's importtant to read all the books. They are the only books I actually did underlining, and notes in the book and attached post it's inside. I worked those books. But still, it's your experience. It's only natural for us Lions to take center stage, too.

I strongly recommend that ANYONE having considering any type of hypnotic 'regression' therapy thoroughly read up on it - from a balanced perspective - before committing to it , especially if it is any type of 'new Age' therapy (I dont mean 'regular hypnosis' such as that used for quitting addiction or dealing with grief or stress but regress or repress hypnosis by a qualified specialist) e.g.

http://www.medicine.virginia.edu/clinical/departments/psychiatry/sections/cspp/dops/regression-page

Also I recommend a reading of 'Talk of the Devil - Repressed Memory & the Ritual Abuse Witch-Hunt'. by Richard Guilliatt: An in depth look at 'alternative hypnosis therapy' and certain therapists as used in some serious cases in Australia ( serious as in resulting in court cases , family split ups, people being led to believe they were abused by family and later proved that was impossible, the 'victims', on both sides, stories and explanations, etc.

It has been proven, more than once, that there are people out there on a witch hunt and some of them use 'hypnosis' techniques, and some 'hypnotic therapists' might be on a hunt or have a specific agenda themselves. Consider what it is you are giving over to them in a session first ... its related to your individual will .

On the other subject ... the world between worlds ... time there can be a LOT longer than 3 days .... it might take longer than 3 days to even get there. All sorts of things happen there ... a very magical place, there are babies there that need looking after too, some things cant be rushed.

Some teachings even include that place as a part of our soul , which is interesting as if we ave an 'intelligent soul' an 'animal soul' ... even a ren, a name soul but also a Hamnamaut ... the soul we were in the state before we incarnated - as if a part of our soul now relates to 'location' a place or perhaps 'soul home' we were in 'then' - at the same time... but that isnt an unusual indigenous concept here
