See How You Scry Jan. 04-11, 2015

Smiling

Hi Urban Bramble,

You hit on so many points that I'm pretty much blown away by your reading!

okay... here's the images I've got for Smiling regarding their career.

I see a house, which then transforms into a tree. I see a bee. I also see a male cardinal. I see a butterfly.

When I close my eyes and squint along the bottom I can see a lake, with a reflection in it. Feels very Arthurian, don't know quite how to say it. Like the Lady of the Lake is about to reach her arm up and hand you... something.

Finally I see a person with a wide brimmed hat on holding their hand up to their heart.

All of these bits are in my life, as I am a great lover of nature, and receive much inspiration from it that I use in my creative work. The Arthurian reference is kind of a funny validation of my love of mythology and all things British/UK :D! The Lady of the Lake, to me, is Divine Mother, or the "source", that I feel is a channel to manifest ideas here on earth. That you see this in a career reading makes my heart sing, because it's so validating of the work that I truly treasure.

I have NO IDEA how to read these images, but I'm gonna give it a try!

Most of them are of nature... are you thinking about a career that involves being outdoors?

The house / tree... being closer to nature... "living" from a perspective where you can really see all your options.
I travel a lot for my work, and yes, am outdoors and need to connect to nature as much as possible. And I do feel that we all have access to an abundant universe.
Also lots of wings, so it's time to stretch your wings and move in a direction you've been thinking about for a long time. Maybe something you didn't have a lot of confidence about before, something you thought you wouldn't be good at.
I do love birds :D! And I will also reflect on your points about "stretching my wings" and gaining confidence in new work directions.

Bees represent industry, working together in community to get things done, jobs where things are specialized and you do your little part as part of a bigger whole.

The cardinal and butterfly make me think of something where you will be strutting your stuff, showing off your colors, the qualities that make you unique.

The Lake... look for help from nature... spend some time reflecting on your options... look for an answer from a guide. Maybe something will even be handed to you.

The wide brimmed hat person felt like they were fighting for something they really believed in. Possibly a job doing advocacy or activism type work?

Also connected to being outside and the sun.

Does any of that resonate?
A lot of my work also involves working with communities, and yes, advocating on their behalf. And I have been getting opportunities-("maybe something will even be handed to you") to "strut my colors" creatively.

Thank you so much for your reading! I feel like you handed me a present with beautiful ribbon ties around it. You have quite a gift.

You are correct, I am musical. I play guitar. I plan to move to an area that I will be able to play my music more, by spring or summer. :)

Not sure about the letter s, but I am certainly feeling a lot of anxiety regarding my relationships with other people. I kind of feel bad that you picked up on that, because feeling anxiety is awful! Lol

:) thanks for this fb. do not feel badly that I picked up on the anxiety. I am an empath and often pick up on feelings when I read for other people. Though sometimes it can be difficult to tell if they are my own personal feelings or if I am picking up on the feelings of whom I am reading for.

At any rate, feeling anxious is probably a normal thing, getting ready to move to a new area. I also read your other fb as well and so understand why you asked about love. A lot of changes for you recently and I hope that all works out for you in the very best way. I feel that July is going to be an important and good month for you, RS. Perhaps the "S" will become more apparent to you at that time as well. Good Luck!

The S could actually signify a name for this guy...for reasons I'm not going to write publicly. Haha

I'm an empath as well. But, I have a difficult time keeping it in check sometimes...like, I've connected too strongly with someone else's feelings and had a hard time breaking that connection. I worded that oddly, but you probably get what I mean anyway. I've only recently begun to learn how to control the things that I've known for years that I am able to do. Shame on me I know, but I don't have very many people around me who encourage or even believe in things like that, even when they've seen without a doubt that it's real. I'm almost 30 now, so I decided a few years ago to no longer let society's doubt hold me back. :)

For Little One:
I know the question is supposed to be brief, but I'm not sure if your question is asking if you will move, or what your move will be like?

Anyway, here goes, and I'm new to this, so hope something makes sense-
I see that you will be moving, as I see lots of action- a horse, car, even plane. It looks like you'll be bringing a lot with you! It may come up quickly, but still be complicated to orchestrate. And do you have a dog? Or will the new place allow dogs? I see a sweet puppy or small dog showing his face. And is it far away from where you live now? Also I see a squirrel, which tells me there'll be lots of trees in the area.

Best wishes to you, Little One, with your move. :)

Hello smiling! Thanks for the reading!

I haven't made any solid plans to move as I recently left my job but all the jobs I have been applying for are not in my home town. I don't have too much to move but I have been systematically taking this time off work to sort through my belongings to sell/donate/throw.

I have a dog, but she is very old. I wouldn't consider taking her with me. My Dad is retired and he has become best friends with the dog so I would have to keep those two senior citizens together! I wouldn't mind getting a new puppy though!

Can't comment on the squirrels and tress yet as I haven't had a job offer :(

Little One--moving house in 2015?

Looking at the ball anyone can notice the two white doors in the ball, that I'm sure is caused by the photographer when snapping this picture of the crystal ball. They look like open doors to me, so I'm going to say in 2015 you will see a new opportunity that could indicate a move.

Also, if you look down to the bottom left of the ball, I see a triangular shaped white object and it looks as if there is an eye in it. My initial thought when seeing this is you peeking through a keyhole. So, if you do move, I have the feeling it'll be to a place that you knew in the past or a place you found in the past that was of interest to you.

Also, the swirls of blues just give the feeling of a move--and when it comes up, it may be something that happens quickly. I also get the feeling this move is due to work and you are relocating for the employment. However, the employer will not change--or at least I don't feel it will.

I hope this resonates. :) Thanks for posting a question!

Hello! Thank you for reading for me with the pretty ball you posted!

I do hope some doors do open for me somewhere else in the country for work so I can move. I mentioned to smiling that I don't have somewhere yet but I have been applying for jobs in other parts of the country. I actually don't have an employer currently though. The employer I was for early with wanted me to move to site based position in the middle of nowhere with no support or family or friends - along with some harsh new contractual obligations thrown in - I told them to shove it! So yes to a move for work, no the current employer.

Most of the places I have applied are places I have been to before - not on purpose, it just happens to be where the work currently is. It likely will come up suddenly as it is attached to work!

okay, my insights tend to be short and sweet because I'm pretty new to scrying now.

This is for Little One... who wants to know about moving house in 2015.

First I saw two doors, facing each other. I think when the time comes you will have two choices. I then saw a jaw opening up and swallowing the first choice. I think you will end up going for this one. The second choice... I tried to focus on what may be getting in you way of moving and around the second choice I saw a cat's head and a very large dog who almost looked human. Do you have pets? Might they limit your housing choices, either because of rental policies or because of your need for yard space or something like that? Maybe the dog could also be another person, someone really loyal who will be more of a hindrance than a help. I think pets and possibly this person will make it so the second option really isn't an option at all.

I saw around the edges of the ball that it is very misty, like you can't see beyond the horizon. However, your housing choices (the door) are smack in the middle, up front. Stop dreaming about doing this "sometime in the future" and start looking now. You will be more successful that way.

Finally, lots and lots of jaws and teeth here. Not sure how that is related, but maybe it means something to you. Could be your leads will come from talking about your plans to everyone you know. Could be some sort of costs associated with dental work? This would get in the way financially of this happening as soon as you want. Could just be that it's time to throw out your line and keep looking until something "bites".

Hello! Thank you for your insights! I'm liking the themes coming through of the doors and the animals!

I would be so happy if I had a choice for moving as I am wanting the move for work - and choices are good for negotiations... And also some applications in going or roles that "will do" but aren't really my interest.

I have both a dog and a cat. I mentioned my dog in smiling' reading for me... Both the dog and cat are old. I wouldn't put them through the trauma of moving at their ages and also my father is retired so they all spend the whole day together... If they came with me they wouldn't have the company all day that they get living with my father.

I have been told I might have a person who causes me trouble related to the new role I choose.... Could be the dog? Not sure.

I am working toward the move now as I need a job and do a niche sort of role that you can't just find anywhere - willing to go where the work is and have been applying.

Maybe the teeth are networking?? Being specialised it might mean I need to network into the job I want. I am doing some work for myself and have been getting small jobs through networks. I don't want to do this all the time as I like to work in a company not contracting.

Hello! Thank you for reading for me with the pretty ball you posted!
I only wish I OWNED these beauties! It is making me want to go out and buy another crystal ball. They can be as addictive as tarot cards--and my 'want list' is never ending there too.

Well, whatever the job is, I hope it is something that will make you happy and wish you good luck with both the job and the move! :)

Hi CN!
Your reading had me laughing because you picked up on so many specific things connected to my work - wow!

So, I just got the chance to look into the ball. At first glance, I saw a person leaping into the air as if they were a dancer--perhaps a ballet dancer.
LittleOne also picked up on dancing, and that it came up with both of you is pretty remarkable to me. For some reason, I wasn't aware of how central this is for me, so thank you for helping me to have more awareness about it.
I also see dance as a metaphor for life, and sometimes collaborate with performers.

Then, I started this thread and I see a cat--dark in color, close to the top right of the ball. Its eyes looking to the left of the ball. I see a person heading towards a door--that is on the bottom left portion of the ball--where the white panel is there. I saw a woman who was working with something, by drawing her left hand into the air and it seems like there is a wave or length of strands coming from it--not sure what it could be, but again, its as if she is creating something. Then, finally, I see a fisth at the bottom of the ball--swimming in the deep waters.

I do use fish and wave imagery in my work!

I notice a young child/boy? to the far left side of the ball too--just his head, but very young and it seems like he has yet a younger child very close to him and then another one standing back a bit. I see more animals--a shark or dolphin--can't really tell which. But, all this gives me the thought that your career, if you are looking for a new one, will be working with families or perhaps animals in a creative way. Not sure if you do this now or not though.
My boy (big shark lover!) and his friends were just looking at my work! Also, I do connect to animals and nature- and love dolphins...
And yes, I do work with families, and plan to continue that in the future.
So, creative people and fish seem to be really standing out here the most. Since the fish can also be indicative of a change, I would guess that your next career will be something different from what you are doing now. It will be something creative and perhaps something to help others--especially children. You're not a teacher are you? I also keep feeling this--"teacher".

Yes, I do teach, as well as do my own creative work. And I am planning on focusing more on teaching children in the future.

I love that the animals have come through all 3 readings here, and it's comforting to me to know that they are around me in this way. Also, reading about specific details that also have symbolic meaning has been especially interesting for me, as this gives me a new understanding about how to view the work that I do, in a more synthesized way.

Thanks again, CN! Your reading brings me joy  because it helps confirm the choices that I've been making.
Thank you so much for your reading!

yes, I do too. (have a hard time keeping it in check), and I'm in my mid 50s! The worst part about it is that my husband doesn't understand it and gets frustrated with me, as does the daughter--that doesn't make it any easier--in fact sometimes it makes it harder! I also understand EXACTLY what you are saying. It is hard to break that connection and I am learning more how to deal with it myself and how to 'try' to keep it under control too. Crystals and meditation do help me--but mostly showers, where I can stand under the shower and cry my eyes out w/o anyone 'hearing' me. Its very, very cleansing. I can't recall now how I figured that one out--but it works wonders for me, and another empath here on A.T. shared she does the same exact thing! You may want to try it.

Its recently become more of interest to me to follow up on and learn about for many reasons. If you ever have any questions about it--let me know and if I can help, I will do my best to do so.
