Judgement Card in New Relationship

I drew the Judgement card for what X intentions are for Y and got Judgment.
Judgement is typically seen at the end of a relationship it is a little confusing to see at the beginning.
Since their relationship has not really began yet as they are still friends. Is it that he simply judging the potential of a relationship with her, weighing all the nagatives? Or perhaps waking her from the dead...LOL.
Just wanted to get some other thoughts on this card when drawn at the beginning of relationship. RW deck used. No reversal used.

Judgement can indicate some kind of karmic connection. Perhaps they knew each other in a past life and have come together in this one for karmic reasons.

Judgement in love can be very passionate. A negative aspect could be that they have a tendency to be obsessive for their partner.

Judgement, name-not-withstanding, isn't really about judging the way Justice would be. Crowley uses the word "Aeon" for this card, which comes from the Thelemite belief that humanity is going through a series of three ages. The last will be one of self-realization and actualization. This is a little different, though not necessarily at odds with RWS "Judgement." Both cards indicate a time when we shed whatever was holding us back and rise up into a more spiritual and truer self.

You joked about his intentions being to wake her from the dead, but you may not be too far wrong in that. His intentions may be to get her to let go of something that she's still clinging to, to realize that if she releases it, she'll soar or have a second life. Rather like those rising from the graves giving up their bodies (and life on Earth) to ascend to heaven.

Question is, what does he think is holding her back? A past romance? A fear of flying? Some old guilt or responsibility? Keep in mind as you think on this (and try to figure out what it is) that just because his intent is to get her to release this thing and fly away, doesn't mean he's right. He may view this thing as holding her back; but maybe it isn't.
