Arch Druid Ed Prynn

Fulgour

from BBC Cornwall:

Cornwall has the reputation of being a magical, mystical and
spiritual place. We went to see Arch Druid Ed Prynn to discuss
the Merlin, angels and marrying for a year and day...

Ed refuses to have his faith bound by other people's ideas:
"I was born locked into both faiths - Christian and Druid."

The reason for my posting this article simply came
from its having been come across by accident, and
yet I've often heard of Ed. He is open and sincere,
whilst I am able to tell but few people my beliefs.

He sounds like an interesting and deep person.
I don't know how he combines druidry with christianity, but if it works for him...I guess he took from both what he needed.
Would love to see his stones, looks like a special place.

this reply is from fulgour;

"Ed's burgeoning cult status is all the more surprising when you
consider his background. He's 64, illiterate and an ex-shovel
driver in a granite quarry who was forced to retire after an
industrial accident more than 30 years ago left him almost blind.
Instead of settling for a life of boredom on his disability pension,
he has found himself becoming more audacious with every
passing year."

Thanks, Zorya. :)

The adult in me thinks that is fascinating. My inner ten-year-old is giggling madly at the thought of an Arch Druid named "Ed". :D

Read all the articles on Ed with joy. I love people like that, totally free and natural and happy with who and what they are. I'd love to visit him and his stones, I like Cornwall very much anyway, it's a beautiful place. He's wonderfully eccentric:D
