Ottawa also has a tulip festival each year. Princess Margriet of the Netherlands was born "on Netherlands soil" at a hospital in Ottawa during the war while the Dutch royal family was in Canada for safety purposes. The Canadian government temporarily declared a wing of the hospital as a Dutch protectorate so that the princess could be born "in" the Netherlands.
Every year, the Dutch people send thousands of tulip bulbs to Ottawa for the festival in recognition of their country's special connection with Canada.
this is just a little reminder, to all, to please keep the discussion on track.
holland and it's tulips (in the netherlands, michigan or ottawa) is an interesting topic, but one that has nothing to do with the i-ching, unless i am very much mistaken. i think it's a discussion best suited for the chat forum or private messaging.
