Healing Energy Project--Katrina Survivors

I'm glad you're joining us, memries!

That's 5, (I think?), any more? All traditions and practices are welcome, and it helps add to the strength of our healing force.

In my chanting this morning, 2 specific ideas for how else to help popped into mind. I've put them into action and feel that something concrete and effective for the disaster victims came out of my commitment here.

Imagemaker this is a beautiful chant and the results of your first experience in our small but powerful group is very inspiring and lovely to hear! I don't wake up that early usually...but I went to sleep last night secure in the knowledge that you would be picking up the prayer in the morning

Memries...thank you for explaning the Novena...this is a beautiful prayer. It is wonderful that we can all pray together in these different ways!!

My reports for last night and this morning are brief:
Yesterday was very hard for me personally but as the day went on I began feeling stronger and by 10PM when I began my ritual I ended up doing two hours of Reiki for the Earth and her children and felt very strong afterwards!! Today I also feel much better. The calm that entered the energy last night has remained. This morning I sang healing songs and felt blessings surrounding us all...

I have been wondering why so few people seem to be coming across this thread...does anyone have any suggestions as to how to make it more visible?

Imagemaker we have 5!! me, WhiteRaven, Huredriel, you, and Memries The list will grow as people are able to focus more on drawing our energies together.

I see I mistyped the 5 as a 3, went back to fix it.

Mimers might see this, but it's actually memries who joined us

Maybe mistypings are a feature of focusing our minds on a higher goal--that's my excuse!

Keep radiating light, others will see it and come to join us.

My deepest apologies to Memries!!! (thank you, Imagemaker, for pointing out my mistake!) I have edited the posts accordingly. I also realized I have put the wrong time zone for my own posts!! so have edited those as well! What can I say...my mind has been elsewhere for a week now! Hopefully in a positive manner.

Last night I did Reiki for the Earth and her children again, this just time just concentrating on the areas that seemed to need the most attention based on my previous sessions. And this morning did the same and followed with a healing song.

I have just changed the name of this thread as I felt maybe others were not aware of the content due to it's title. I hope this is okay with everyone. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.

This is the first time I've come out of meditation feeling somewhat refreshed...or rather peaceful in some way.....the other times I've come out and have been totally drained. Meditating and sending Reiki is what I've been doing...but I will say this, it has not been easy and like I said....quite draining.....today was better tho and I hope that it progressively does continue to get better.....Huge blockage in root and solar plexus.....that's where the dense feeling is and hasn't really gotten much better....and I'm not coming out of this feeling very well emotionally either.....I'm presuming that these feelings are coming from the people in the area.....and I can most certainly understand why I feel this.....I pray it gets better in time....

I'm chanting in a dedicated time span and then at short intervals through the day. This project takes just a simple persistent resolve to keep going, which mirrors the effort in the Gulf.

Everywhere energy is shifting and moving around this disaster, rippling out to affect every aspect of our nation and beyond.

Hi WhiteRaven! Thank you for posting an update...please remember to care gently for yourself as well!!! This is a very overwhelming task for those of us doing energy healing work.

As you can see by my first report...I experienced a great deal of physical pain with my first attempt. This is the only time I have ever felt real--physically bound--pain doing Reiki. I think it is because we are "looping" the earth's own energy back to her, rather than allowing it to pass through us to others. What has helped me the most is to remember when I do my correspondences that I include myself also in her children who need help!! This seems to have provided a more balanced affect. This morning, I could see the Temperance card...the water (energy) flowing in balance with us as energy practitioners in the center again.

Thank you again for all your efforts. We stand together here and everywhere to bring healing to those in need...and that does include each of us as well.

I just found this thread too...

I can send concentrated healing light energy in 10 minute bursts throughout the day. I'm up near Imagemaker, our time zone is the same, so there would be 2 of us transmitting from this area. My prayer will be to the Great Mother & Bright Father, to heal the earth, comfort the surviving animals and human beings there, and to safely escort to the other side all creatures who departed this plane amidst the chaos.
