I have thought of an idea for a spread, here is the spread:

4: What have you have already for what you want to do?
5: What do you need to work on for what you want to do?
6: What do you have already for what you desire to do?
7: What do you need to work on for what you desire to do?
8: What do you have already for what you need to do?
9: What do you need to work of for what you need to do?
10: Outcome/advice
For clarification you can draw more cards if needed

On another note, I had an interesting question posed to me by manuel ruiz who I did a reading for him using this spread, his question:

Could you use 3 cards for each position?

My answer: I don't see why not, matter of fact may provide a bit more information, to just using 1 card for each position.

Solution: Do whatever you feel would be best for you, if you like small spreads, stick to just one card, if you don't mind using a larger spread and want to get more insight, use three cards.

What would the difference between WANT and DESIRE be in this spread? I tried it, but I'm not exactly sure how to differentiate between the two.

Sorry, but have an unwanted absence from the internet.

I guess a desire can be described a long the lines of what you wish for, or what you long for, and what you want, is just that.

I hope that makes sense!
