Gypsy's Curse

Tarot Tina

I don't know if the old wives tale of the Gypsy's Curse is true but I think I was affected by one. If you had a gypsy knock your front door you were not supposed to turn them away but buy a small lucky charm from them otherwise they would curse you and the curse would stay until they decided to remove it. The last Saturday I was at work my husband answered the door and turned away a gypsy and I said 'thats it you've done it now'. The following week I had my accident and have had to have an operation and will be left with a limp and my husband lost his job. So is it the gypsy's curse or are we just unlucky. I know you might say you make your own luck but I didn't make myself fall down and my husband did nothing to lose his job, his boss was an arsehole. So how do we remove the curse. Who knows. Is it just time or was it our time for some bad luck.

Meh just magick

Welll considering curses are just a form of magick, its fairly easy to reverse them no matter who cast them, i recall a spell rebound spell

you have a mirror, the glass facing away from you in your outstreatched hands, spin in a circle three time widdershins(anti-clockwise) saying something like
Spell rebound,something,something

If you belive in the curse, you proably have a strong belief for magick,or just a simple protection charm

Im so sorry to hear of your accident and your husbands loss of job (((((light and healing to you both))))))

If you truely feel that this person is responsible for what has happened - then you must try to better the energy which is surrounding you and your home.

You could look to see if there is something dropped in the garden or along/on the fenceline of your home - something which may have withered in the last week - or a trinkey of some sort. Bind and bury it - somewhere it can do no harm or cast it out to sea.

There is also the possibility that such a strong belief can be set in motion by you as well - and the more energy you give to the thought that you are 'cursed', it can exasserbate(sp?) it. Thought creates matter (and spells) so you need to cast a thought which will effectively disolve 'bad luck' and replace it with 'good luck' - if thats your intention.

A thorough cleansing ritual around your home - along the fences and about you personally will also help change the energy. wearing a cross or a similar talisman will comfort you and remind you, that you are protected.

Just some thoughts :)

Well, personally speaking, I was cursed by a gypsy last year because I insisted that they leave my property. They drove their pony and cart right up the yard (private property) looking for scrap metal, kept asking me to sell it to them, wouldn't take no for an answer so finally I had to physically escort the pony, and subsequently them, off my property. At this point I was told that he hoped I would die a painful and horrible death.

Well, 18 months on, after a good year, many things improved, I don't remember dying a horrible, painful death so I guess it was a load of old cobblers.

If you believe you are subject to a curse, then do what you can to protect yourself from it, send it back with a bit of love and learning then perhaps it won't happen to anyone else.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident, I hope you overcome the limp and hopefully you can turn your husbands job loss into an advantage and help him get a better one with a nice boss instead.

i dont understand why someone would curse you becaue you didnt buy their stuff=doesnt that make them ignorant/evil whatever you want to call it in the first place?

So here it goes!
I am part Gypsy and there is no curse.
We do not curse under these circumstances, since that cours will come back to us.
BUT some of my people wil threaten you with a curse to frighten you.
The Rumor about the curse in the olden time made people more inclined to give a clan member what was asked for.....
That is Very different from Speaking the Spell in Romani.
Now: If you buy something, the clan member may leave a secret sign ( knife mark on tree -scratch on wood or otherways )to inform others of the clan that you are a buyer / helper meal giver or whatever.
Millie, you probably have a sign somewhere that says "do not bother" or in the worst of cases -if that was a particular clan- a bad mana ="hate" sign = ok to "Take" = snatch ----chicken, wollen sweater, firewood or whatever, something that is an insignificant loss to you. = NOT snatch car or computer or break in = bad carma for the clan if someone does that.....

Sorry to hear that! Star lover!

Over here people always ask what kind of accent you got - as starting the conversation "where are you from"
There I am on an Art and Craft Show selling our handmade Jeweler and the question comes - 3 times a day is nothing never mind how well known we are...
When I answer that I am Siberian Native and GYPSY!!!! They ask me -usually in jest- if I stole all the stuff I am selling!
That is, when I have to take a DEEEEEP breath --- and go into teaching mode....

By the way:
Star Lover, do you want your rings back??......
could not sell them.....:)

what you could do: find the going "dakas" of your area and put visible the one that says / means protected by the "BLack Sarah"!
Everyone will honour that!!!!!!

To be honest Mi-Shell, I think that the ones who came round to me were what we here call 'tinkers'. Not true gyspy but travellers of Irish decent. No disrespect to anyone from Ireland but I can't help what accent they have. The same little ***** who hoped I would die painfully, was back again the week before last . . . . . nice eh? As if I wouldn't remember him!

They are just arrogant, cheeky and mostly illiterate. We get a lot in the shop, being so close to Heysham port. Its a shame they feel that they have to behave like this, causing confusion, stealing, asking for receipts for more than they have bought (to get more money from their poor customers), harassing us for discounts etc but its just the way they are brought up!

Shame, because as soon as they start making a fuss about discounts, they usually end up paying more and because they are not able to read or do simple arithmatic, they can't tell that its they themselves who have actually just lost out.

I sort of pity them in a way.

Sorry to hear about what has happened. Having an accident and losing your job isn't a nice thing to experience....its happened to me but not at the same time.

I have a little theory;
From the minute your husband told you he turned away the gypsy, the negative thought process started. You believed that the gypsy had cursed you and your family and well like attracts like....so negative thoughts attractive negative experiences...positive attracts positive. But I have realised that things like to happen all at once, the universe is testing us when this happens. But as I say this, I also believe we all go through different experiences in life, unfortunately positive ones are weighed out by negatives ones aswell....so I guess I have contradicted myself with the above statement?

Cheer up :) Things will improve.

Hehe,None taken :)
Theres not much of them left in Ireland,The goverment i think is trying to get them all "housed again"
But you will praobly be able to reconginise Irish "tinkers" from other Irish.
Just felt like i should point that out, don't know why
