I think it happens when you least expect, when you're not even looking for signs. One day you are thinking about something and then *click* something happens or you hear something and you just *know* and it's as if time stands still for a while.

You know the place, the time, what you were doing, what you were thinking. It sort of becomes imprinted, because it was supposed to.

Other things happen in passing and could be taken as a little sign, but they are transitions, don't have the same *ping*.

Like when I saw somebody walking a black dog and a white dog and they were pulling in different directions.... hehe, I giggled and thought 'there goes the chariot'.

I love the Carpenters - and that song in particular.

yes - i think if it feels like this is a message to me, it most probably is! unless youre really stressed or paranoid etc when you can take every blinking thing happening to be related to you - thats so unhealty and can make you unstable

sad thing is we KNOW what we KNOW when he KNOW it - simple really
it's god conversing with us to make sure we are still listening and living and saying - hey - you dont get to sit down for a good while yet!

As Shy Priestess said, some will click more than others. Although, depending on your particular beliefs, the moment you attempt to relate to something it becomes about you even as it retains its own identity.

Like, say Betty sees a cat leap and the grace of the movement catches her eye, so she thinks of leaping over obstacles herself, which leads to thinking about a particular obstacle and how employing some cat-like qualities may help her resolve it.
