Clow Reading Circle: Exercise #1

Satori

The best way to get to know a deck, I believe, is to read with it.

Please sign up for a reading circle with the Clow. I'm working on a three card spread designed especially for use with this deck.

Sign-up will be kept open for a couple of days, and as always, the more the merrier.

Thanks!

Satori

Lillie

I'll play. :D

lilangel09

I'm in.

Satori

And so we begin!
I will post the spread and the reading lineup a little later...

This is going to be so fun!
Can't wait to do this with you all!

Satori

Here is the lineup:

Since lilangel and I recently read for each other with the Clow I thought I would mix it up a bit for this round.

Satori will read for Lillie.
Lillie will read for lilangel09.
Lilangel09 will read for Chronata.
And Chronata will read for Satori!

I'm having some trouble with my spread.

Since spring is arriving slowly I thought we might look at what wants to blossom in our lives but is somehow being held back...sort of what you want but won't let in.

So:
That which waits to manifest in your life.
That which blocks the manifestation.
That which benefits from the manifestation.

Doesn't really flow.
What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Lillie

What do I think?

I think I don't understand the question.
Especially the third one.

Maybe if I tried it, it would come clear.
But at the momment I am scatching my head over the manifestation thing.

I like the reading in a circle thing. That's good.

translated:
Something is waiting to come into your life.
Some thing that blocks it.
What you get from receiving it.

New Deck Interview Spread

1. Tell me about yourself. What is your most important characteristic?
2. What are your strengths as a deck?
3. What are your limits as a deck?
4. What do you bring to the table -- what are you here to teach me?
5. How can I best learn from and collaborate with you?
6. What is the potential outcome of our working relationship?

I found this on the Spreads Forum.
I'm modifying it for the exercise, but I leave it up in its entirety so that you can all try it at home with your Clow if you choose. I really like the spread.

1. What is your most important characteristic.
2. How can (insert sitter's name) best learn from and collaborate with you?
3. What do you bring to the table--what are you here to teach (sitter).

Satori

So, let's get started asap. Post the readings here in the thread. Many thanks!

Lillie, if you like the new spread I get your reading up tonight my time. Thanks for playing Lillie!
