In the Connolly Ace of Pentacles, a young angel manifests a large golden pentacle attached to a large purple disk. In the land below, red roses and white lilies symbolize the masculine and feminine principles coming forth in material abundance. Far behind the garden, the so-called "mountains of aspiration" are obscured and distant. Unlike the RWS image, there is no gate to lead out of the garden. Although we are off to a good start in the terms of manifesting the physical, material, or financial, it is going to be more a challenge to balance these benefits with one's spiritual, passionate and intellectual needs.
