I believe this one is related to the river dream from a few days ago.
I dreamt last night that I was in a boat or ferry that was operating on man-made canals. The ferry was run by someone close to me in the dream. I said how the ferry reminded me of my home.
In the dream I came on another planet! It was similar to Ray Bradbury's Mars because it had man-made canals with blue water. And it had a sea. On this planet I lived in a houseboat. I would travel the canals on this houseboat. I could also shapeshift into a seabird. There was a great sense of comfort and security emanating from both the setting of the planet, the canals, the houseboat, and the shapeshifting. I felt settled and safe.
I think this dream is related to the river dream in that it shows me how to feel comfortable with something emotional that seems to be troubling me in real life.
