Dream: broken nail.

Greetings all.
I had this really *strange* dream last night, way too complicated and complex to explain! However, I was wondering about this one thing: I was fighting a man, real battle-kill-you-each-other-scenario, and I suddenly noticed that the nail on my little finger on my left hand was broken on the middle. I got very concerned with this nail (which hadn't fallen off), and looked at my finger several times to see if it was OK. It was hurting as well. I woke up soon after.

So, any input on nail-dreaming?

I'm just picturing you in deep Matrix type fighting style, then all of a sudden holding up your hand (in the stop position) right in this man's face and saying "Hold on! I broke a nail!" lol

Maybe this means you are concerning yourself too much with things that arent really important, and you should be more involved with the important things that are happening around you. Or that you START out being really involved but are easily distracting with small things.

were you using your nails as weapons? perhaps, you then thought, your weapons weren't adequate to fight this man (or what he represented). keep in mind that it was just the littlest nail. you have many more, bigger ones. losing, one battle would not mean you lost the war! so since this is all you told us of the dream, i wonder if the rest gives you a clue as to what battle you feel you are fighting in real life?

It's just these kind of sayings that we need to see in our dreams. Dreams work not only on visual symbology, but play on words, catch phrases, puns, ect.
zorya, I like your inter. It leaves me unable to look at the dream any other way.

*LOL* What an amazing image! That is so funny! It was kinda like that, besides that I didn't say anything. I was looking at my nail while fighting him.

True. I am very easily distracted, and being a Virgo x 5 I'm also easily distracted by small things. I just have to figure out what part of my life this applies to.

My take...feel free to bash...

I think maybe you are holding back from defeating your obstacles (other guy), because you don't want to lose anything, however small or trivial it might seem (your nail)...remember, nails can grow back, but a broken dream cannot...get out there and be brave and daring!...
Nothing comes without change, and no gain should come without loss...its the big circle of energy (and it rules us all....*breaks into song*...)

Btw, where was the fight?...I got skyscraper-roof images....and blue sky...

We were inside a building, down in a cellar I think. However, it was an exit there out (maybe to a parking lot).

I'm fighting something and burying it at the same time.... hm. I have no clue as to what this could be. If I am, I'm not aware of it. However, I have a tendency to close things out. A lot has happened in my life the last month, and there has been a few dramatic, and sad, changes.

I'm good at not feeling them. If you know what I mean. I'm not sure I know what I mean.
