Kiama, sounds like you've gotten lots of good input from others. But I thought I'd just throw this into the mix, too.

Sometimes when you dream about falling in love with a person, it is about parts of your own self coming together. What I mean is that this person might represent a part of yourself that you need to (or are ready to) embrace. What would he be telling you if he were a tarot card?

I remember once when I was in the business world (I'm a stay at home mom now), I had a dream that I fell in love with one of my supervisors. But he was super icky!!! LOL. The thing was that he was very intimidating to me, and he was going to give me my annual performance review. The dream told me that I didn't need to be nervous, that he was just a guy, like any ole guy that I'd date. It turned out to be very helpful.

I don't know what your work involves, so this may or may not be helpful.

Anyway, I am pondering Lunar-Rabbit's suggestion... Mat (The guy I dreamed about) is very charismatic, funny... He can talk to nybod... aybe I am trying to incorporate this into my life? We work in a restaurant-bar thing, so our work involves serving others!

The situation is pretty much resolved now... Kinda... *Kiama grins* Although I ca't tell you guys in a public post what has been decided!

Events during the day get used in dreams quite often. The fact that he mentioned that he fancied you opened a door. Your conscience mind pondered your attraction in full gear, setting the stage for the nights event. Usually a dream like this might be telling you about the qualities you admire in this fellow, not the fellow himself. These could be qualities you seek in yourself.
