Ghost hunting devices

Anyone tried them? I got a ghost hunter kit for Christmas; the EVP device was defective & I just received a replacement that works (yay Amazon!). It's a RadioShack mini amplifier speaker & all I'm getting now is white noise. The infrared temp thingy leaves much to be desired; it's not backlit & is real tiny so you need an extra hand to hold a flashlight to read it, but they did provide finger flashlights, which I find fascinating. They'd be really good for reading in bed... The EMF device is pretty cool & works. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with these things. I've researched it for many years but once you have these devices in hand, they're a bit confusing. You need 8 arms to do them all at the same time. Hence, ghost hunting teams, I guess. Right now I have the EVP headphones on after asking if there are any spirits that want to say anything...

I don't have experience with this stuff, myself, canid, but perhaps you should shoot an email out to dancing bear. She has these items i think, now that she has her own ghost hunting business.

I will say that when I do medium readings & the psychic circles, I turn the spickets on in the bathroom &/or kitchen for a steady stream flow & it does seem to help with the spirits to come through easier.

This is fascinating that you have this stuff. Do keep us updated on your experiences!

I just wasn't sure if they'd work or not because maybe they are just mini's of the real equipment?

I've always wanted to see if the equipment would pick stuff up when I felt a presence in the room- just to see if sensing and equipment worked at the same time and said the same thing.

I'd love to hear what equipment people use that really works, and what we should stay away from.. I've always wanted to do my own "ghost tour" or ghost hunting in my town...some day.

My aunt was a psychic medium & back in the 1960s, 70s, & 80s, she just used a regular tape recorder and tapes. She always had spirit activity on them, most of which were quite strong & loud to the point of us being able to identify easily. I was the lucky one to inherit those tapes.

I do have the DAS RT EVP, where we had great Results with. Also the Tri Field EMF Meter, the Spirit BOX, Franks Box, the New Emf with on and off button, then I do have the Ovilus X with the DTX device. Yes I used eveything, and I can really recommend everything.

My 15 year old daughter has all the devices, recorders, different kinds of emf meters. After xmas we took her to the Queen Mary, in Long Beach CA, and then to San Diego to explore haunted places(ships and hotels). We did not find anything but had a great time, such a beautiful city. I would think you would have to spend some time in an area before finding something, but you never know. My daughter enjoys it.
