Help needed with identifying crystal beads, please

KittyB

Hello! I recently bought some beads to make jewellery with, but they were 'unidentified' in the shop I bought them from.

I think the first ones could be Botswana Agate:

The second ones, could they be a type of turquoise? I have seen more green, mottled varieties:

They feel a little rough to touch, and are matt, rather than glossy.

I have no clue what the third ones are - it's not so clear from the photo, but they have lovely, greeny-blue bits on them:

Thanks in advance.

Hi Kitty,

Your crystals are so pretty!

The first one definitely is an agate (you can tell by the striping), but I can't tell you which kind.

The second one looks like a Tibetian jasper, but the one I've seen is a slightly different color.

The third one is gorgeous! It reminds me of a leopard (also called leopardskin) jasper.

Maybe someone else can do a better ID.

Welcome!

T.

Thank you!

I also thought leopardskin jasper, but the turquoise/green bits threw me.
