here is my thread on first meeting him.
and here is the story about how our meeting went.
I just came from the medicine man for lack of a better term,,
I brought him a slice of pizza, some tobacco and a sage tie that was passed on to my mom from a passed on elder.
After some formalities we began to talk about what can be done ..
I shared with him first, My dreams ..
1. “the dreams where I saw a lion in 1994 -98 that had me at my passed on grandpa house and it was coming through the grass towards me,, I was scared but my grandpa showed up with a big bamboo stick (which in retrospect looks like a big eagle bone whistle come to think of it ).
So I used it like a shot gun , and shared the lion hanging upside down from a tree with its guts open and the white feathers falling out of the lion.
2. The elder who was sweeping me and joked about “ I almost turned the feather on myself for there was lots of it “
I also asked about his awesome looking hunting dagger that was sitting there,, I was asking him what does he used it for..
In my mind I heard “ to clean out cancer” or cut out disease..
But instead the he said , “oh I keep it there to fight evil “ and I said half in joke “do you put it in your hands and circle the person in the chair “. and he and his wife laughed.
He said no he doesn’t use it physically but spiritually,,
And I was like so if you are journeying do you travel with it in your hand. ?
He said no when the spirits come to help they pick it up if they need to use it.
Or if he is dreaming and it might appear in his hands when he needs it..
Hmm I said.
And before I forget I asked about the shell casing in the box on his bundle and he said “he was gifted with metal and that is for protection “.
So he began to pray and I listened for I told him that I was looking to see if there is any darkness In me (energy wise). He prayed in English for the most part,, from what I heard and his wife did as well.
His wife went first sharing “I saw a black horse , with a suspension bridge “ and the husband began to explain.
“The black horse is a helper,, and he is for finding things , like those who drowned but don’t’ use it for finding out who murdered people, or missing people.. “
Afterwards in the feedback, I told him about the lady who came to me for my mom told her about me,, that I did a journey to try to help find her son,, who went missing in the late 90s. I said he threw the ice and I said where he would be ,, and how he would be found in the spring..
A couple of months later they found him, and she seemed to think I found him,, but I honestly didn’t’ know if I did or not. She wanted me to go the funeral but I didn’t go.
He explained that if you tell the cops where a missing person is,, or a murderer is,, the cops will instantly think you did it,, that happened to a prominent man in the 70s or 80s ,, he went to jail for a crime he didn’t’ commit.. So the elders on turtle island won’t really help the police.
Their big message about there was to be careful.
He said “the bridge is to show the spirits have prepared a bridge for you to walk over and its been there “.
I shared when I was 16 , at a workshop I had a dream of a bridge but I was hanging on a rope and was scared..
He said “that was to show you it would be hard but now you are 37,, and not 16 it is time to get started. “.
He said the elder who used the feather on you that time,, was trying to take some of your power,, but the thunder birds stopped him,, they were protecting you,, and they are inside you.
He said “that the dream about the lion shows I am really gifted to fight evil, “
And my mind went ,, ohm crap..
He also said,, be careful of sharing your gifts, and people get jealous and some seeks to take them for themselves , but mostly jealous,
He said ,, “there are people who cause sickness’ with their touch like you do healing with yours,, and you worked on such a person and you haven’t felt right about it . When you say something doesn’t feel right. “
I tried to think of who that could be but I don’t’ know.
He said “fast for four days,, and prepare for 4 days before hand, and four days afterwards,, you have to sleep alone, no having sex.,,
I mentioned that I sleep with a sleep apean machine and he said I could do it inside,, just no eating,, and don’t wash your hands as you might be tempted to lick the water off your hand.
In particular when fasting don’t’ take any thing the spirits give you,, but instead ask for if it was true in the ceremony afterwards..
For the spirits may try to trick you when you are fasting,, so don’t’ take no pipes,, drums, songs, etc.

He shared that the drums at funeral started happening at the 80s,, and now they do songs at the wake about life,, when the funeral is about death,, and some elders don’t’ like these additions.

We talked about the sweat lodge,, and I said when I was much younger and slimmer I used to go into as much lodges as possible until they started asking me to be the squabi,, (fire keeper,, and I was resentful )
He said fire keepers get a lot of healing out there for there is prayers for them, and the squabie can do prayers for themselves.
He said,, I have the gift of the shaking tent,, sweat lodges, and hands on healing,,
Especially since I shared a dream where I saw wind and transparent buildings.
And this path is before me if it want to learn it.
So I asked if he was going to do any doctoring..
He put the eagle feather to my forehead and did about 3 sucks on the left side,, one in the middle, and 2 on the right side..
Then put the eagle whistle to my forehead and did two deep sucks..
My crown center get sensitive sometimes and this time it did,, my whole neck was tingling in a ticklish way,, and I had mirth on my face.
So afterwards we shook hands,, and I went outside and I came here to share my story.
