if you shuffle with incomplete deck

star-lover

does this nullify your reading?
i did a spread earlier and when i put the cards away i saw that one card had been left in my desk when i picked it up to shuffle
this has happened a few times before and when i realised i just automatically thought the reading was incorrect

Why not treat the "left out" card as a jumper and just incorporate it into the reading? I mean, there is a reason fro everything, after all.

This has happened to me a couple of times, and since I believe that everything turns out the way it is supposed to, I just feel that card wouldn't have come into the reading, anyway. I guess you could read it as "What definitely won't happen here."

thanks kk and apollonia - 2 differing views on this
i just did it again!!!
and it seems the card left behind is most definitely related to the reading - i think it was meant to be read as the way forward/advice/crux of the matter - bit like a shadow / bottom of deck card
so i guess i will go for kk's method if it happens again but in the meantime just make sure i pick all the cards up lol
