Intuitive Breakthrough

There could well be a collective consciousness that tarot helps us tap into. I've done one reading since my original post. I had a couple of good mini-flashes. I do much better when the card meanings I've learned through rote learning are used only as a springboard into the intuitive, rather than as the end point. I also have to work on trusting where this takes me even if it ends up being far away from the actual card.

There could well be a collective consciousness that tarot helps us tap into. The idea is also a reminder that all life is made from the same stardust, so there is no excuse for we humans to be at such a chronic state of war with each other and against the planet {stepping down from soapbox}.

What if it's not a collective consciousness but rather, telepathy? As a Tarot reader, your relationship with your client becomes momentarily close, and for you to be reading, you show genuine care for your client. It makes sense that during the reading you somehow 'tune in' to your client as well as your deck and manage to understand certain deeper aspects of the issue they are concerned about. Even if it isn't personal telepathic contact, the reader's connection to the collective consciousness is a form of spiritual telepathic link with it.

Could well be kx5. To think that humans could have, or develop, telepathy is a huge idea for me to absorb. Then again, there is much about how the brain and body functions that science can't answer (yet). Maybe telepathy is possible. I don't know the answer but collective consciousness, telepathy, spirit guides and other ideas found on this website are fascinating.
