Is the FOOL just foolish or also successful?

Hi, I am quite unclear about fool card, the name speaks the "Fool" who can be fool due to symbology and imagery of reckless and careless attitude, but it also means beginnings. I asked Tarot about a particular career i wish to embark upon and received the "Fool" , what do I interpret it? Is it foolish to go for it or does it give success in disguise. For me the interpretation was based on name and imagery and since we think more negative, I thought it can be negative. But i also dont wish to miss this career due to a wrong reading, what if it is a blessing?
