Any thoughts on why the couple is in the middle of the circle? And why they are wearing leis or garlands of what appear to be pink roses?

Are they being Handfasted maybe or about to perform the Great Rite???
The guy seems to have an athame in his hand.

I think I would tend to lean toward the latter. In the context of the storyline of the deck, I tend to view the 4 of Wands as the handfasting card. Perhaps they are being initiated into the coven - but would that happen for a couple? (I don't know, I'm a solitaire myself.)

Just curious about other's opinions. . .
