Necronomicon (Lovecraft)

I just picked up the Necronomicon tarot by Tyson.. it is a little dark but I like the H.P Lovecraft references across the deck.

I bought this deck recently for my other half, and he loves it.

I bought a copy sometime in October. While I love it for the Lovecraft connection and the story line through out the 78 cards, I can't help but feel that the art style is is innappropriate. It feels too "soft."

indeed, this should be a 'dark deck' as opposed to an art deck.

Darkness should play upon feelings.

This is a cerebral deck, where the designers were so carried away with ‘clever’ suit-centric storylines, they completely lost what Tarot should be about. As to the storylines? They center around Tyson's stories, and his limp vision of the Necronomicon rather than Lovecrafts vision.
