Tribal face painting - meanings of the markings and colours?

Does anyone know anything about the meanings of lines, shapes and colours used in any tribal face painting, anywhere in the world? There are some basic bits of info in the web here and there but not much that really would help anyone decipher specific markings.

Thanks for those, I had already seen them when searching the net but they don't give enough information I'm afraid.

I think this is a cultural thing but moreover that it can be individual rather than having specific meaning in some cases. Perhaps there is no answer to my question in most cases.

Never mind.
