Witch Spread

Rachey

LOL This is another one I've done :)

Kind of a general theme but focused around a witch for halloween time haha!

I don't yet have a layout for this one either. Any thoughts, idea or improvements welcome

1. As the witch stirs her cauldron: These are your emotions being stirred?

2. She adjusts her hat: These are your thoughts?

3. She wraps round her cloak: This is the protection and cover you use?

4. As the witch reaches for her broom: These are the tools you can rely on?

5. The witch flys into the night: This is the direction you should take?

6. Her black cat accompanies her: This is your help or guidance on your journey?

7. A bat swoops around the witch: This is the unexpected?

8. The wind picks up: These are your obstacles?

9. The witch lands at her destination: This is where you will find yourself?

Guiding Cauldron

cute!

Thanks for posting this I'm making a note of it in my journal :) I think I may try a spread like this for placement:
..............4.................
............3...5.............
..........2........6...........
...10..1...9....8...7..11.....

Added 10-11, as Spirit World advice cards, and to make up brim of witchy hat layout.

Reminds me of a witchy hat, and it goes all the way around to end up back by the begginning. As if completing the journey kind of thing. :)

Or maybe this layout, it reminds me of a broom. The long handle then the brustles at the end. Could signify the clearing out and making way for change, when neccessary. :)

................1...................
................2...................
................3..................
................4..................
..............5...6...............
.............7.....8.............
................9................

Maybe this is just my madness but it makes sense to me !! lol :)

Bat is a guide for the underworld so what about the Bat being a message from the other side? :)

I really, really like the questions and associations in this spread, Rachey. Well done!
sunshineluvr, the spread positions looking like a witches hat is a pretty cool addition too. With the two extra cards as advice or messages from the other world or spirits... I like it.

But I also think the broom and sweeping changes is great. It would be easily adaptable either way.

maybe be
10. An owl hoots from a tree... Who Who! This is the message from the your Spirit Guide...
11. and how to use it.

or since ArwenNightstar mentioned the bat as messenger /messagefor #10-11, maybe the owl's hoot is a warning instead for #7.

Anyway, I still like it and look forward to seeing how it evolves.

This is a great spread Rachey, thanks for sharing it :)

I like the two layouts too, sunshinelvr :)

I really like the spread Rachey, I also like the addition positions that WalesWoman mentioned for 10 and 11, (message from your spirit guide and how to use it).

I guess it depends on what version the individual would like to use as what spread layout to use, I can't really decide between the witches hat and the broom. But if I were to do this reading, I would probably add in those 2 extra questions which would make the layout looking like the witches hat, cool idea sunshineluvr.

Matter of fact I might try it out right now!
